The article gives a model description of the management processes of the investment activity of a construction company that develops and implements innovative construction projects in the conditions of an acute shortage of external investment resources. Optimization of the series of managerial decisions for the construction of algorithms for managing the innovation and investment activity of a construction enterprise was carried out taking into account the functioning of the investment flow management system: soft management, risk management, crash management. The schemes of restructuring the production, investment and innovative structures of the construction enterprise are proposed. An investment model for the implementation of a specific innovative construction project has been developed and a number of management solutions that meet this model have been identified and designed to neutralize the effects of external adverse perturbations. The application of management solutions of internal, medium and external contours to the management system of investment flows of a construction enterprise as a part of specialized series is substantiated.

Nowadays vocational education has undergone a number of significant changes which were the result of serious socio-economic changes in society as well as integration processes in European educational space. In modern education, practical classes began to occupy a significant part of the time of students' education. Therefore, an objective need arose in making changes to the existing system of vocational education, which will meet modern requirements for training highly qualified specialists. In the context of increasing importance of the practical part of education, the authors emphasize the need to focus attention on the practical work of engineering students as one of the most popular specialties of secondary vocational educational institutions which actualizes consideration of this issue in the work. The purpose of the article is to consider the improvement of practical work in the course "Power sources for welding" as fundamental in the training of welders. The authors developed a practical lesson in this course which is accompanied by appropriate detailed recommendations on the implementation of tasks. Improving students’ practical activity is an integral part of college successful functioning because within the framework of the competence-based approach, the training system must be transformed and adjusted to the requirements of the new Federal State Standard. Guided by the results obtained during the study, we concluded that this development can be used in the further process of teaching students in technical colleges in the city of Nizhny Novgorod.

Relevance: В under the conditions of reforming the characteristics of the Russian system of higher education are gradually changing in accordance with the General directions of development of modern society. The role of professionalism, personal activity of the student, his interest in self-improvement and readiness for self-education increases. The understanding of education is formed not as a process focused on the transfer of ready-made knowledge from teacher to student, but as a comprehensive system aimed at individualizing the student's mastery of the skills necessary for successful employment in the labor market.This approach to education is based on the development of professional thinking of students by shifting the emphasis of educational work on independent activities of students and its motivation. Independent work of students is considered as a methodological basis for achieving strong and in-depth knowledge, professional competencies, formation of cognitive activity and commitment. Excel software environment, which makes it possible to run cluster analysis of large amounts of statistical data promptly and with minimal time expenses. Conclusion: The paper’s authors consider that the automation of clustering process in the Microsoft Excel software environment allows decreasing time significantly. The process of cluster analysis in the MS Excel program without the use of add-on is very labor-intensive and requires a lot of time to complete it. Also, in case of very large number of items, the time for running cluster analysis significantly increases and when the number of items is estimated in hundreds and thousands, the time of effective cluster analysis running can be estimated in days, which is very ineffective. The use of add-in doesn’t require special knowledge on the mechanism of running cluster analysis from the user and takes a few seconds to complete it.
