Turtles are one of the fauna that is threatened with extinction. The cause of its extinction is inadequate management of conservation techniques. The Lantera Trenggalek Community sees the problem of the high operational costs of turtle conservation faced by the people of Masaran Village, Trenggalek, East Java. The operational costs of turtle conservation are high, including the costs of turtle feed, turtle maintenance and the electricity costs for turtle egg incubators reaching 1800 watts, so they require high PLN electricity. Therefore, this research aims to innovate to overcome partner problems by utilizing off grid PLTS using Bidirectional Buck and Boost Converter. The aim of using PLTS in Masaran village is to increase the availability of electricity sources at relatively low prices. However, in the PLTS implementation system, the electrical energy produced is unstable. So the PLTS system is equipped with batteries to store energy. The energy storage process requires a converter which functions to stabilize the output voltage of the PLTS. This research used Bidirectional Buck and Boost Converters because these converters are able to work in two directions so they can optimize the output voltage from PLTS. The results of testing the PLTS system with Bidirectional Buck and Boost Converter show that when in buck mode, the converter output voltage can reach 14.4V which is used for battery charging. The output of this research is that the Off Grid PLTS system can produce maximum electrical energy so that it can overcome partner problems in increasing the turtle population.

Indonesia's heavy reliance on non-renewable energy sources, such as fossil fuels and other resources obtained from mining, poses sustainability challenges. Solar panels, which are environmentally friendly and renewable energy alternatives, are designed to convert solar energy into electricity, and they have shown room for improvement in their efficiency. One method to enhance its efficiency is the utilization of dual-axis solar tracking, employing linear actuators for control over both horizontal and vertical panel movements. In addition, solar panels frequently experience efficiency losses as a result of high working temperatures when exposed to sunlight. The use of water treatment techniques may help address this problem. In this research, the two-axis solar tracking approach with water treatment methods were combined to achieve greater efficiency and boost energy production. A notable increase in solar panel efficiency was seen subsequent to the design, implementation, and testing of the proposed system, resulting in a notable rise in power output. Combining the two-axis solar tracking approach with water treatment methods produced solar panels with a 7.46% efficiency and a 17.77% power increment. Dual-axis solar tracking and combined with water treatment could significantly increase solar panel efficiency, which will ultimately lead to environtmentally clean renewable energy production increment.

The increasing energy demand in Indonesia, driven by rapid technological advancements across various industries and a growing population, necessitates the exploration of alternative energy sources. The reliance on traditional Steam Power Plants has contributed to rising greenhouse gas emissions and increasing operational costs, prompting the need for cleaner and more sustainable energy solutions. Solar energy emerges as a promising alternative to address these challenges. This study focuses on developing a solar power generation system capable of meeting the electrical energy needs in isolated areas. Using the PVsyst application, a new renewable energy system was designed to cater to the electricity requirements of residential homes. The study findings indicate that the system can generate 13,683 watts of electrical energy using eight solar panels, each with a capacity of 330 Wp. Additionally, the system includes 15 batteries with a capacity of 250 Ah to store energy. The designed system successfully meets the daily electricity demand of 8,210 watts for residential homes. To maximize solar energy absorption, the optimal tilt angle for the solar panels was determined to be 7 degrees. This study demonstrates that solar power generation systems are a viable and effective alternative for fulfilling electrical energy needs in isolated areas, offering a sustainable solution to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reliance on conventional power sources.
