“…Very differently, a single-exponential function can describe the decay curve of Tb- S 3 (Figure S9b), giving the τ value of 1.01 ms, this value is obviously longer than that of Eu- R 1 , but comparable with that of [Tb( R -pba) 3 (phen)] 2 (τ = 1.08 ms) . The Tb(III) complex represents a much longer lifetime than the Eu(III) analogue, which can be attributed to the former having a more predominant charge transfer . The solid-state fluorescence quantum yields of Eu- R 1 and Tb- S 3 were measured using Edinburgh FLS980 to be 17.41% (λ ex = 398 nm) and 4.62% (λ ex = 360 nm), respectively.…”

“…Sodium diclofenac (Nadicl) ( Figure 1 A) is an analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory agent [ 36 ] proposed for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis [ 37 , 38 ]. However, recent studies have shown that the use of sodium diclofenac may increase the cardiovascular problems when compared to paracetamol and other traditional NSAIDs [ 39 ].…”

“…2123 The potassium and sodium salts of dcf (commonly known as diclofenac) are well-known nonsteroid anti-inflammatory drugs. 24 The coordination chemistry of dcf and phen with transition metals is known; 25,26 however, to date, no reports are published on alkali metal complexes with phen / dcf mixed ligand systems. As a continuation of our search for new potential bioactive compounds, 27 we have sought to combine the established enzyme inhibition properties of phen with the anti-inflammatory properties of dcf through the development of structurally well-defined alkali metal complexes of phen / dcf as potentially bioactive compounds.…”

“…phen is a well-known N-donor ligand with predictable coordination chemistry, offering a N , N ′-chelate pocket for metal ions and is often employed with a range of O-donor coligands to produce a range of complexes with different structural topologies. phen is also a well-known enzyme inhibitor. The potassium and sodium salts of dcf (commonly known as diclofenac) are well-known nonsteroid anti-inflammatory drugs .
