PERCEVAL v4.0 : A New PC Code for Gamma Radiation Studies Based upon Most Recent Development about Point Kernel

Abstract: The present paper presents the capabilities of a new code named PERCEVAL v4.0 and based on the new point kernel described in an attached issue. Two linked codes named SPECTRE _ G and GRAPH_3D are part of the code package in order to establish the energetic source tenn and visualize the tri-dimensional scene respectively.

“…When only a point source is present in an empty scenario, the dose rate value in a point at a distance from the source can be expressed as (4) where is the dose rate at a unit distance. This case can be linearly expanded to the situation of immaterial volumetric sources in the area, each of them represented by a …”

“…When time is an issue, Manuscript for instance, in the generation of dose maps with hundreds of points in industrial facilities, methods based on the point kernel algorithms are usually used. See for instance [4] and [5]. A classic work in dose rate assessment is PUTZ [6].…”
