Peningkatan Infeksi Patogen Busuk Pangkal pada Bawang Putih oleh Meloidogyne dengan Variasi Kerapatan Inokulum

Abstract: <p>Fusarium oxysporum f. sp.cepae (FOCe) causing basal rot of garlic is the main obstacle in improving garlic production. The presence of root knot nematode (Meloidogynespp.) is thought to cause an increase in the disease was caused by FOCe. This research aimed to study the effect of the presence of Meloidogyne in increasing the disease severity of basal rot of garlic caused by FOCe and interactions between them. The research was conducted through surveys and experimental procedures. The survey was condu… Show more

“…Predisposition is the breakdown of plant resistance to pathogen attack due to the weakening of plants due to biotic or abiotic stress [28]. FOCe is a weak pathogen, so plants that grow physiologically healthy will become more resistant to this pathogen [29,30]. 0.004 Note: the numbers in the same column followed by the same letter show no significant difference based on Duncan's Multiple Range Test at the 95% confidence level.…”

“…This pathogen is difficult to control because the pathogen can survive for a long time in the soil even without a susceptible host plant by forming chlamydospores and the level of IOP Publishing doi:10.1088/1755-1315/1114/1/012062 2 seed carrying pathogen is very high, making it difficult to obtain pathogen-free seeds [5,6]. Interactions between pathogens and other organisms such as nematode parasites can affect plant resistance [7,8].…”
