“…Kedua, alat ukur yang dikembang-kan oleh Goleman (2002) untuk mengukur kecerdasan emosional yang terdiri 40 item dan terbagi ke dalam 5 aspek yaitu: kemampuan mengenal diri (kesadaran diri), mengelola emosi, memotivasi diri, mengenali emosi orang lain, membina hubungan dengan orang lain (empati). Validitas dari alat ukur ini sebesar .89 dan reliabilitias sebesar .842 (Ibrahim, 2012). Hasil pengujian instrumen menunjukkan sebanyak 13 item dapat digunakan (.304 -.576), nilai validitas per aspek (pearson's correlation) berkisar antara .464 -.690, sedangkan koefisien reliabilitas (alpha cronbach) sebesar .544.…”
