This study examines four variables namely leadership style, job satisfaction, motivation, and nurse performance. The purpose of this study is to analyze and explain the effect of leadership and job satisfaction on nurse performance by testing individual motivation as intervening. The research respondents were nurses with government employees who worked at Regional Public Hospital (RSUD) Dr. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Mojokerto city, Indonesia. A total of 117 were sampled for this study. The analysis technique is descriptive and linear regression for confirmation on a structural equation model built by the researcher. The quantitative approach was chosen to explain the influence between research variables. Data collection used a questionnaire. The results of this study found that the leadership style had led to individual motivational behaviour which ultimately had a positive impact on nurse performance. Nurse Job satisfaction affects individual motivation and nurse performance.

Profile of Teacher Leaders in an Indonesian School Context: How the Teachers Perceive Themselves

Teacher leaders play an important role in advancing learning in schools. However, this theme is under-researched, particularly in the Indonesian school context. This study investigated how Indonesian teachers rate themselves as being teacher leaders using the Teacher Leadership Self-Assessment (TLSA) instrument with a quantitative approach. The data was collected from 3,564 teachers from Lampung Province, Indonesia, with a cross-sectional method using an online platform. The collected data was analysed using the Rasch Analysis approach and showed good reliability and validity for the TLSA instrument as well as the Indonesian data. The findings showed that Indonesian teachers perceived themselves as having high levels of teacher leadership, but at the same time, the behaviours under the construct of communication were rarely engaged in and was thus identified as an area for improvement. Meanwhile, in terms of perceiving themselves as teacher leaders, the senior teachers, and those with more working experience were more significantly different in many constructs compared to the other demographic variables. The implications of this study suggest that there is still room to enhance teacher leadership by identifying the constructs and considering the teachers’ demographic variables.

This study aims to determine the influence of teacher leadership and students’ interest in social studies learning achievement. The study used a survey method with correlational techniques. The population of this study were students from three schools in Bogor City, totalling 604 students. The sample in this study was 60 students which were randomly selected. The data were obtained by delivering a questionnaire and analyzed by descriptive statistics. The results of the research conclude that there is a significant effect of the teacher leadership variable on the social studies learning achievement variable for private middle school students in the city of Bogor. It is proven that the value of Sig = 0.00 0.05, t-test = 3.905. Moreover, there is an influence of learning interest in learning on Social Studies on the students’ learning achievement. There is a value of Sig = 0.00 0.05, t-test = 4.904. Furthermore, there is a significant influence on the independent variables of teacher leadership and interest in learning together on the social studies learning achievement of students. This is evidenced by the value of Sig = 0.011 0.05 and F-test = 23.062. These findings conclude that the teacher must perform a good model to increase students’ interests in learning that can provide positive impacts on their learning achievement.
