Background: Basic pentavalent immunization coverage in Sinjai Regency in 2017 has reached the target, but the advanced pentavalent immunization rate is still low (52.90%). This condition leads to make a huge gap in toddlers’ immunization status. Purpose: This study aims to determine the factors associated with advanced pentavalent immunization status in the work area of Kampala Health Service Center (PUSKESMAS), Sinjai Regency. Methods: The cross-sectional study was used in this study. The mothers who have the children aged 18-36 months were used as population. About 145 samples were obtained by using simple random sampling technique. The two-way data collection technique, namely primary data obtained through questionnaires and secondary data obtained from the evaluation data of pentavalent immunization at Kampala Health Service Center, Sinjai Regency. Furthermore, chi-square was used for data analysis. Results: Generally, the respondents were 25-29 years old in average (26.90%) and had a high school/ equivalent education degree (53.80%). The respondents’ occupation are mostly housewives (83, 40%). Moreover, the toddlers were 24-29 months-old (46.90%) in average. This study showed that the majority of respondents did not take advanced pentavalent immunization (61.38%). Factors affecting the immunization status of the pentavalent were maternal knowledge (p = 0.03), family support (p= <0.01), and the role of health workers (p= <0.01). Surprisingly, the maternal attitude (p=0.57) and access to immunization services (p=0.17) were not related to advanced pentavalent immunization status. Conclusion: There was a relationship between maternal knowledge, family support, and the role of health workers with advanced pentavalent immunization status

PurposeMobile-based technology health services in Indonesia are experiencing significant growth. However, the implementation of m-health in Indonesia is at a stand-still because the numbers of users or medical personnel who use m-health applications are still low. Given this fact, this study aims to identify critical success factors (CSFs) in the implementation of a mobile health applications in Indonesia. This research covers the following four dimensions: system quality, information quality, service quality, and organizational.MethodThis study uses a quantitative research approach with the entropy method to analyze system quality, information quality, and service quality, and it uses a qualitative approach for the organizational dimension. A total of 127 respondents completed the questionnaire (quantitative approach) and interviews were performed with three personnel from the Social Security Agency for Health (BPJS-K) (qualitative approach).ResultsThe highest weights for each dimension were as follows: ease of access for the system quality dimension; adequate and relevant information for the information quality dimension; user service convenience for the service quality dimension; and top management support for the organizational dimension.ConclusionsBased on the results of this study, the regulator, health facilities management, and mobile health provider should ensure a long-term commitment to support the implementation of mobile health applications. In order to reach a wider market, all mobile health applications should be as user friendly as possible for the patients.

Failure to immunization can cause serious implications for a child’s life and the health of the surrounding children.The aim of study was to assess the characteristic of children, parents and families in children who failed to obtain complete immunization. Another additional objective is to see the timeliness of each type of immunization, including HB0, BCG, DPT-HB Combo, Polio and Measles. Samples were children aged 12 to 23 months who were samples in the 2013 Riskesdas and then children’s data was merged with data on the characteristic of mothers, fathers and families. Furthermore, the history of immunization of children will be analyzed by univariate, bivariate and multivariate. Immunization data analyzed are children with immunization records and family memories. The results showed that children who do not have KMS (immunization cards), KIA (mother and child card) and other immunization records, birth places in not health facilities, birth order <2, low education of fathers and mothers, poor families, live in rural areas and the number of children under five ≥3, have more immunization failure high of. The highest proportion of timeliness was in HB0 immunization and the lowest in DPT-HB Combo3 and Polio immunization 4. Multivariate analysis results showed that the variables that had the most influence on immunization failure were card ownership with OR 3.08 (95% CI 2,70-3.50) as well as in child birth in health facilities with OR 2.83 (95% CI 2.50-3.21). The most timely type of immunization with 91.0% punctually and the most inaccurate time is DPT-HB Combo 3 immunization with a proportion of timeliness of only 1.1%. More massive screening to increase the percentage of specific timeliness to immunize DPT-HB-Combo3 and Polio 4 types to to minimize immunization failure. Abstrak Kegagalan imunisasi dapat menyebabkan implikasi yang serius pada kehidupan seorang anak serta kesehatan anak disekitarnya. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menilai karakteristik anak, orang tua serta keluarga pada anak yang gagal memperoleh imunisasi secara lengkap. Tujuan tambahan lainnya adalah melihat ketepatan waktu masing-masing jenis imunisasi baik HB0, BCG, DPT-HB Combo, Polio serta Campak. Sampel adalah anak usia 12 sampai dengan 23 bulan yang menjadi sampel Riset Kesehatan Dasar (Riskesdas) 2013 dan kemudian data anak dilakukan proses merge dengan data karakteristik ibu, ayah, dan keluarga. Selanjutnya data riwayat imunisasi anak akan dianalisis secara univariat, bivariat dan multivariat. Data imunisasi yang dianalisis adalah anak yang mempunyai catatan imunisasi serta ingatan keluarga. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak yang tidak memiliki kartu KMS, KIA, dan catatan imunisasi, tempat kelahiran di non fasilitas kesehatan urutan kelahiran≤ 2, pendidikan ayah dan ibu rendah, keluarga miskin, tinggal di perdesaan dan jumlah balita ≥3, memiliki proporsi kegagalan imunisasi yang lebih tinggi. Proporsi ketepatan waktu paling tinggi ada pada imunisasi HB0 dan yang paling rendah pada jenis imunisasi DPT-HB Combo3 dan Polio 4. Analisis multivariat menunjukan bahwa variabel yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap kegagalan imunisasi adalah kepemilikan kartu dengan OR 3,08 (95% CI 2,70-3,50) serta kelahiran anak di fasilitas kesehatan dengan OR 2,83 (95% CI 2,50-3,21). Jenis imunisasi yang paling tepat waktu adalah imunisasi HB0 dengan ketepatan waktu 91,0% dan yang paling tidak tepat waktu adalah imunisasi DPT-HB Combo 3 dengan proporsi ketepatan waktu hanya sebesar 1,1%. Penjaringan yang lebih masif untuk meningkatkan presentase ketepatan waktu khususnya kepada imunisasi jenis DPT-HB-Combo3 dan Polio 4 untuk memperkecil kegagalan imunisasi.
