Raudhatus Salaam Islamic Boarding School Berbah Sleman Regency's operating costs are still heavily reliant on student fees and donations from donors, but it has three vacant waqf land locations that have yet to be developed to support pesantren's economic independence. The goal of this Community Partnership Program is to initiate efforts to increase the economic independence of pesantren through agribusiness-based activities by optimizing the existing resources. The data collection method used in this activity is observation and focus group discussion, while the method of service implementation is through counseling, land clearing, planting, and post-planting maintenance. The study's data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. This program has been successful in increasing the empowerment of partners in terms of knowledge and skills, with the goal of increasing the economic independence of the partners' pesantren by converting one of the existing lands into a banana plantation.

This research was conducted because people are increasingly losing their character and identity as an excellent Indonesian nation, and the low public awareness of religious activities. For this reason, this study aims to analyze and examine the remembrance of Ratib Al-Haddad to strengthen religious character education. The approach used in this research is a descriptive qualitative type of case study. Data collection uses observation and in-depth interviews and is supported by documentation. The research location is in Kaling Village, Tasikmadu District, Karanganyar Regency. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data inference. The results showed that efforts to strengthen religious character education in Kaling Village provided the community an understanding of religious character through remembrance of Ratib Al-Haddad activities led by Kyai. Strengthening character education through remembering Ratib Al-Haddad includes moral knowing, feeling, and doing. This research implies that all parties need support to achieve a common goal, namely creating a harmonious religious character.

Virulence of Five Isolates of Indigenous Beauveria Bassiana Against Eggs and Nymphs of Bemisia Tabaci Gennadius (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae)

This research aims to study the virulence of five isolates of Beauveria bassiana to eggs and nymphs of Bemisia tabaci on tomato. In the experiment eggs and second instar nymphs of B. Tabaci were used. Five isolates of the fungus, i.e., WS, TD312, PD114, PA221, PB211, were tested. Conidial concentration of B. bassiana used were 108 conidia/ml. Experimental parameters included mortality of eggs and nymph and percentage of adult emergence. The results showed that all B. bassiana isolates tested were able to kill B. tabaci eggs but with very low mortality (2-19%). Mortality of second instar B. tabaci nymphs was dependent on the fungal isolates. Isolate WS had the highest virulence, which caused 70% mortality of 2nd instar nymphs, with a LT50 of 4.87 days. Nymphs of B. tabaci were highly susceptible to B. bassiana infection compared with eggs. B. bassiana applicated to nymphs of B. tabaci can decrease the percentage of adult emergence.
