Learning physics in SMAN 1 Bukittinggi was conducted through theories and practicum that verified the theories. The preliminary survey on the implementation of physics learning showed that teachers had not yet applied research-based learning. There were still many students who had not yet mastered the learning of physics. Supporting facilities such as physics laboratory and the equipment had been available, but they are not yet optimally utilized. Research-based learning model is one of learning models that can improve critical thinking skill and students' learning outcome. The research is aimed at developing research-based physics learning model with Science, Environment, Technology, and Society (SETS) approaches which was valid, practical, and effective to improve students' critical thinking. This research used a 4D model from Thiagarajan. The instruments of the research were interview guidance, observation sheets, validation sheet of the learning model and the instructional materials, questionnaire response of teachers and students, critical thinking skill test, and assessment sheet of skills and attitudes. The result of the research showed that the developed learning model and the instructional materials belonged to the category of valid which was in accordance with the expert judgment. The learning model and the instructional materials belonged to the category of practical based on the result of the observation, and the response of teachers and students. The implementation of Research-based Physics Learning with SETS approach was effective in improving critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of the students.

Abstract-This study aims to produce a teaching material in the form of guided inquiry based worksheet and to evaluate its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The research was conducted using Research and Development (R&D) model. Development model that is used in this research is a 4-D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). Validity analysis resultshowed that moment kappa value is 0.91, which can be categorized as very high. Practicality analysis result based on teachers response and students showed that practicality value is 0.82, which can be categorized as very high. From effectiveness test, the gain score of student's learning outcome before and after using worksheet in learning is 0.54, which can be categorized as intermediate and mean of students activity presentation in each meeting is 81%, which can be categorized as very effective. Based on the data, it can be concluded that guided inquiry based worksheet on colligative properties solution are valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract-The aim of the research was to determine the implementation of integrated learning model from students in 9 grades secondary school in Warungkiara, Sukabumi District. This learning model basically combine the various related matter in order to produce some theme that can support the student's intelligence. The instrument used on this research are identification tests of multiple intelligences, assessment of multiple intelligences activities (self and peer assessment) and test mastery of concept. The research showed integrated earth and space science learning model can facilitate student's intelligence and improve student's concept understanding of earth structure and disaster.
