The Maninjau Lake have been poised several times which caused by the waste of commercial aquaculture feed. The situation resulted in a drastic reduction of several members of the ecosystem in the lake. The reduction of species in an ecosystem will result in the loss of the lexicon related to the species. The current research studies the lexicon of flora and fauna in Lake Maninjau, West Sumatra Province, Indonesia in the context of ecolingusitis. The output of the current study is to provide documentation lexicon which have potential to be extinct due to ecological cases such as natural disasters and human intervention around the Lake Maninjau ecosystem. The data were collected by using observational method and interviews, then the data were analyzed using translational and referential identity method. The flora found in the waters are enceng gondok, lumuik, jaiia amun, sikajuik lauik, and pandan lauik. Fauna found include ideh, kijing, pensi, rinyuak, bada, gariang, nila, majalaya, kolai, lele, patin, udang, lintah, bujang sambilan, asang, rutiang, langkitang, sipuik, lokan, and acek. Some types of fauna such as rinyuak are difficult to find because they polluted by tubo. Pollution as an enemy of the ecosystem caused by human greedy behavior is one of the major factors of the language extinction.

Javanese proverbs (including paribasan, bebasan, saloka, pepindhan and sanepa) have their own uniqueness, in terms of the form, function and meaning. Javanese proverbs illustrate both good and bad characters inherent in Javanese people. The portrayal of good character is intended as an exemplary which enables human's hearts incline towards imitating good characters and emulate good characters; while the depiction of bad characters concerns a warning to humans in order not to take exemplary of the bad characters, to avoid despicable characters, and eliminate the object characters inherent in them. In this case, Javanese proverbs as a text describing about good and bad characters, while characters, characters, behaviors that are social realities inherent in humans and which occur in society are the context. It is logically and empirically proven that context always precedes the text. In addition, Javanese proverbs function as persuasive social controls. That is, the Javanese proverb serves to control, thus the Javanese would imitate and emulate the good characteristics, attitudes, behavior, character running the social lives; in addition to avoid the bad characteristics, behavior, attitudes, and character. By understanding proverbs, we will know human nature and character".

As it's evolved, the Minangkabau idiomatic expression now appears in different forms in the internet world and has a form that most often appears as its transformation. This paper presents various interpretations of the Minangkabau proverb in meme form. The object of the study was a Minangkabau language meme collected from several accounts on Instagram. The memes are then sorted into groups of text and images. The analysis is done by comparing the similarities and differences between the actual meaning of the saying proverb with the meaning contained in memes. Through memes text, images, and content in the Instagram account, there are expansions of the Minangkabau proverb interpretation as a social product. At the same time, the interpretation shows the survival of the Minangkabau traditions in today's digital era.
