Abstract: O presente artigo discute os ambientes de aprendizagem na época da hipermídia e da Educação a Distância. Para isso, contextualiza a questão das tecnologias e seus impactos na Educação. Apresenta as inserções da hipermídia e de suas aplicabilidades dentro deste cenário e descreve os Ambientes Hipermidiáticos, as suas funções e correlações nos processos de design instrucional.
