Optimized Energy Management Schemes for Electric Vehicle Applications: A Bibliometric Analysis towards Future Trends

Abstract: Concerns over growing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and fuel prices have prompted researchers to look into alternative energy sources, notably in the transportation sector, accounting for more than 70% of carbon emissions. An increasing amount of research on electric vehicles (EVs) and their energy management schemes (EMSs) has been undertaken extensively in recent years to address these concerns. This article aims to offer a bibliometric analysis and investigation of optimized EMSs for EV applications. Hundr… Show more

“…Despite the remarkable performance shown by MPIC, efficient energy management in different operating modes necessitates a sophisticated multipurpose algorithm. Another innovative MPIC with a built-in capability to regulate multidirectional power flow was proposed by Miah et al (2021). EV development is still in mature, and new studies are still working to reduce their price and weight.…”

“…For the efficient generation of on-board hydrogen, different topologies have been discussed in the literature for sustainable transportation. An on-board Pd-Ag MR procedure to produce hydrogen has been adopted by [81]. By heat exchanging with water and air in heat exchangers and evaporators, the combustion chamber creates high-temperature flue gas, which may be used to generate steam and hot combustion air.…”

“…The energy experts stated that there are no operating license requirements for EV charging stations worldwide, which might aid in the development of a larger global network of EV charging stations. The government offers discounts to buyers of EVs, lowers the applicable rate of taxes on Li-ion batteries, and offers incentives to the public transit sector to switch to electric cars [43].…”
