“…Prior to LC/MS analysis, the mass spectrometer was tuned to obtain the maximal signal‐to‐noise ratio for the model macrolide. Statistic analysis determined that the tuning parameters impacting the signal‐to‐noise ratio of macrolides were cone, capillary, extractor, radio frequency (RF) lens voltages, and high mass resolution (HM Res1) 23.
