Opopanax ve Crenosciadium cinsleri arasındaki filogenetik ilişkinin çekirdek ve kloroplast DNA dizisi verilerinin kullanılarak belirlenmesi

Abstract: A phylogenetic study of the Opopanax and Crenosciadium was conducted to elucidate their circumscription and infrageneric relationships. Sequence data from nrDNA ITS, cpDNA matK and trnL-F were used to determine their phylogenetic relationship. Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) amplifications of all regions were performed using universal primers. Maximum Likelihood (ML) trees were constructed using PAUP* software, another phylogenetic tree of ITS sequences showing node ages was obtained from MrBayes programme a… Show more

“…); however, it differs from Opopanax in that it has a dorsal flat fruit. Özcan et al studied the molecular characterizations of the nrDNA ITS, cpDNA matK, and trnL-F regions of C. siifolium and Opopanax species and determined that these two genera, although very similar, are different from each other [ 8 ]. The mericarp morphology is particularly helpful for separating the genera Opopanax and Crenosciadium , and the mericarp ribs are very significant for separating the two genera [ 9 ].…”

“…The flowering plants belonging to Apiaceae consists of about 450 genera and 3700 species. It is widely distributed in temperate regions of both the northern and southern hemispheres and is highly diverse in Central Asia (Ozcan et al 2021). This family is represented by 101 genera and 485 species (511 taxa) in Turkey and rich in commercial essential oils and has a wide traditional use.…”
