Since 2010, China's economic growth has stagnated due to an unbalanced regional industrial structure and lack of sufficient qualified technical personnel. A nonlinear autoregressive distributed lag (NARDL) model has been used in this study to examine the asymmetric effects of secondary vocational education and training (SVET) and higher vocational education and training (HVET) and their interaction with high-tech industries on economic growth over the period 1980–2020. The findings show that an increase in secondary vocational education and training (SVET) significantly boosts long-term economic growth, while a decrease in secondary vocational education and training (SVET) insignificantly reduces long-term China economic growth. Likewise, the upward change in higher vocational education and training (HVET) promotes and the downward fluctuation in higher vocational education and training (HVET) significantly reduces China's long-term economic growth. The moderating role of secondary vocational education in the impact of high-tech industries on China's economic growth is positive, but not significant. However, higher vocational education plays a significant positive moderating role in high technology industries impact on economic growth. Strategically, the study analysis suggests that economic transition prosperity can be achieved by encouraging higher vocational education and the equal development of high-tech industries in all regions. In addition, this study also proposes to cultivate high-quality talents related to high-tech development and modern industrial innovation and upgrading through higher vocational education, improve productivity, and promote the country's intensive development.

This study was designed to evaluate the effectiveness of learning tools based on Problem-Based Learning for the ElectricalMotorcycle Maintenance course in SMKs. This research applieda quantitative research approach and a quasi-experimental research design. The method consists of four stages namely: define, development, design and disseminate. The results of this research wereas follow: (1) An Instructional Design had been developed for motorcycle electrical System at Vocational High School. (2) The effectiveness was 86.26%. Based on the finding, it can be concluded that the tested program is effective to be used. On the other hand, results obtained from this research also proved that PBL-based Learning Devices is giving positive effectson improving student learning outcomes.

El Impacto del Modelo educativo dual en la formación profesional del estudiante

Esta investigación tiene el objetivo de estudiar el impacto de la formación dual, una modalidad de innovación educativa de enseñanza y aprendizaje que se desarrolla en dos lugares distintos y complementarios (el aula y la empresa), en la formación de los profesionales y su inserción en el mercado laboral. El estudio asume un corte transversal cuasiexperimental. Para la estimación del impacto se usó el propensity score matching, con tres algoritmos: vecino más cercano, radio y el kernel matching y, por otro lado, el análisis de puntuaciones de regresión. Los resultados son sólidos tanto en estos dosenfoques, como en los tres algoritmos. Como contribución se evidenció que los egresados que participan en el programa dual tienen un salario significativamente mayor (USD 275.00 USD) y un menor tiempo (2 meses 20 días) en insertarse en el mercado laboral con respecto a los que no recibieron el programa (modelo tradicional).
