O presente artigo analisa a crítica de Nietzsche da subjetividade e sua relação com o problema da linguagem, tal como ela se desenvolve na última fase da obra nietzschiana, buscando demonstrar que a linguagem possui um papel crucial no entendimento da crítica da subjetividade, da consciência, de uma noção fixa metafísica do sujeito moderno, buscando apontar, de maneira breve, a forma como tal projeto se articula com o legado aberto pela crítica da razão de Immanuel Kant, que em Nietzsche se dá, de maneira particular, intermediado pela filosofia de Arthur Schopenhauer.
