Nutritional osteomalacia presenting with plantar fasciitis

Abstract: We report five patients with nutritional osteomalacia who presented with the symptoms and signs of plantar fasciitis. All the patients were Asian vegetarian women. All improved with treatment of the osteomalacia, albeit slowly in two cases.
