Novel Methodology for Condition Monitoring of Gear Wear Using Supervised Learning and Infrared Thermography

Abstract: In gearboxes, the occurrence of unexpected failures such as wear in the gears may occur, causing unwanted downtime with significant financial losses and human efforts.
