Nonoperative vs Operative Management of Uncomplicated Acute Appendicitis

Abstract: IMPORTANCEAppendectomy remains the standard of care for uncomplicated acute appendicitis despite several randomized clinical trials pointing to the safety and efficacy of nonoperative management of this disease.
