Neue hochmolekulare substanzen aus isocyanaten mit funktionellen gruppen

Abstract

Organische Isocyanate, die neben der NCO‐Gruppe eine Sulfenchlorid‐, Alkoxy‐methyl‐ oder Azidgruppe im Molekül enthalten, wurden nach neuen Verfahren her‐gestellt. Ihre Umsetzung mit reaktiven hochmolekularen Stoffen liefert Kunst‐stoffe oder Kunststoffzwischenprodukte mit technisch interessanten Eigenschaften. Isocyanate mit einer Sulfenchloridgruppe, z. B. 4‐Isocyanatophenylsulfenchlorid, lagern sich an fast alle ungesättigten organischen Verbindungen zu neuen Mono‐oder Polyisocyanaten an. Aus ungesättigten Polymeren, wie Polybutadien, Leinöl usw., sind hochmolekulare Polyisocyanate auf diesem Wege leicht zugänglich. Die Anlagerung von Alkoxymethylisocyanaten, z. B. CH3OCH2NCO, an Verbindungen mit aktiven Wasserstoffatomen stellt eine neue Methode zur Einführung der sehr reaktionsfähigen N‐Alkoxymethylgruppe dar. Hochmolekulare Verbindungen, z. B. Polyester, Polyamide usw., werden dadurch in thermisch oder unter Säurekatalyse vernetzbare Kunststoffe übergeführt. Isocyanate mit Azid‐ oder Sulfazidgruppen im Molekül gestatten die additive Einführung von Azidgruppen in organische Verbindungen. Durch Anlagerung von Azidisocyanaten an aktive Wasserstoffatome beliebiger Polymerer können diese in Produkte umgewandelt werden, die unter Lichteinwirkung durch Radikalreaktionen der Azidgruppen vernetzen.
