Objective to analyze, from the perspective of integrality, the hospitalizations of adolescents due to conditions sensitive to primary care in a Regional Health unit in Paraná State. Method a quantitative retrospective study was carried out from January to July 2018. Public data were collected from hospitalizations of adolescents aged 10 to 19 years available in the database of the hospital information system of the Ministry of Health using the Official Tabulator (Tabwin, version 3.2). Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics according to the absolute number and frequency per year investigated. Results out of the 82,016 admissions, 9,029 (11.00%) were due to conditions sensitive to primary care. Among the main causes, infection of the kidney and urinary tract (24.96%), epilepsies (19.27%), infectious gastroenteritis, and complications (11.91%) stood out, which are diseases related to prenatal care and childbirth (8.88%) and asthma (7.39%). Female hospitalizations accounted for 57.52%, prevalent in the 15- to 19-year-old subgroup (66.64%). Conclusion and implications for practice it is necessary to advance in the construction of integrality in adolescent health care to respond to the health needs of this population segment and reduce hospitalizations for causes sensitive to primary care.

Introduction: Viral hepatitis is a health problem that affects millions of people, are among the main causes of disability and death in the world and affect different vulnerable social groups. This scenario led the World Health Organization to include the reduction of cases and deaths from viral hepatitis in the agenda of the Sustainable Development Goals. Objective: To map research on viral hepatitis with references that explore a social perspective of Collective Health. Method: This is a scoping review whose searches were carried out in the Virtual Health Library, in the Scientific Electronic Library Online, in the Scopus database and the Google Scholar grey literature database. Studies in Portuguese, Spanish and English were included, with no publication deadline. Data were extracted using an instrument developed by the authors and submitted to thematic content analysis with the support of webQDA software. Results: 36 articles were selected for reading. From the full reading of the publications, three empirical categories emerged: The social perspective in the health-disease process of viral hepatitis; The expression of social categories in the phenomenon of viral hepatitis; Health needs associated with viral hepatitis. Conclusions: The social perspective of viral hepatitis is approached by studies in an incipient way and there is no in-depth analysis of the potential for wear and tear and strengthening of populations belonging to different vulnerable social groups. The methodology used proved to be adequate to analyze scientific productions in-depth, especially those that address the social perspective.

Compreender as demandas necessárias à promoção da saúde do adolescente na perspectiva dos profissionais de saúde, da educação e dos adolescentes. Estudo qualitativo, do tipo exploratório, que teve como cenário o território de três Equipes da Estratégia Saúde da Família (EqESF) do município de Horizonte/CE - Brasil, localizadas em zona rural e em zona urbana, bem como três escolas municipais adscritas as referidas equipes. Os participantes deste estudo foram 12 profissionais de saúde e da educação e 21 adolescentes. A coleta de dados ocorreu a partir de entrevista semiestruturada com profissionais de saúde e da educação, além de três oficinas com os adolescentes. Os dados foram analisados a partir do referencial teórico da Análise de Conteúdo de Bardin. Emergiram duas categorias – a) Promoção da saúde do adolescente na perspectiva dos profissionais de saúde e educação; b) Saúde dos adolescentes: educação em saúde, diálogo e assistência biologicista. Observou-se a necessidade de diálogo entre profissionais e adolescentes, pautada no acolhimento e escuta qualificada de aspectos biopsicossociais desta fase da vida, tecnologias voltadas para as particularidades dos jovens que favoreçam a comunicação, participação e intersetorialidade.
