Natural Convection and Entropy Generation of MgO/Water Nanofluids in the Enclosure under a Magnetic Field and Radiation Effects

Abstract: The authors of the present paper sought to conduct a numerical study on the convection heat transfer, along with the radiation and entropy generation (EGE) of a nanofluids (NFs) in a two and three-dimensional square enclosure, by using the FVM. The enclosure contained a high-temperature blade in the form of a vertical elliptical quadrant in the lower corner of the enclosure. The right edge of the enclosure was kept at low temperature, while the other edges were insulated. The enclosure was subjected to a magne… Show more

“…The data showed that increasing the Darcy number directly with the modified Rayleigh number and fin dimension increased the average Nusselt number. They also reviewed current research for natural convection in cavities of different shapes with internal hosts, such as the MHD effect and double diffusion [ 34 , 35 , 36 , 37 , 38 , 39 , 40 , 41 ].…”

“…Heat transmission in functionalized multi-walled nanotubes and water nanofluid is investigated by 27 in relation to the impacts of adding trapezoidal ribs to microchannels. Similarly, 28 numerically investigated and utilized the FVM of the convection heat transport, radiation, and entropy generation (EGE) of nanofluids (NFs) in a two- and three-dimensional square enclosure. To the impact, the research of using water/graphene oxide nanofluid flow on heat transfer and the friction coefficient in a circular profile copper tube, an isotherm heat transfer system has been invented and constructed by 29 .…”
