Nanoparticles of novel organotin(IV) complexes bearing phosphoric triamide ligands

Abstract: SummaryFour novel organotin(IV) complexes containing phosphoric triamide ligands were synthesized and characterized by multinuclear (1H, 31P, 13C) NMR, infrared, ultraviolet and fluorescence spectroscopy as well as elemental analysis. The 1H NMR spectra of complexes 1–4 proved that the Sn atoms adopt octahedral configurations. The nanoparticles of the complexes were also prepared by ultrasonication, and their SEM micrographs indicated identical spherical morphologies with particles sizes about 20–25 nm. The fl… Show more

“…Over the past years, ultrasonic method has rapidly developed as procedure to fabrication of nano‐structured metal coordination compounds which can be a precursor for preparation of metal oxide nanostructures . It is notable that, reports on syntheses of nano‐structured phosphoramide coordination complexes are limited . In this work, nanorods of new diorganotin phosphonicdiamide, [Sn(CH 3 ) 2 Cl 2 (L) 2 ] {L = N,N′ ‐bis(cyclohexyl) phenyl phosphonicdiamide}, were synthesized under ultrasonic irradiation in three different concentrations of initial reagents.…”

“…In these complexes, aromatic protons appear as a complex pattern in the region 7.18–8.12 ppm and the methyl protons directly attached to tin atom are observed as singlet in the region 0.94–1.02 ppm with well‐defined satellites. The value of coupling constant 2 J ( 119 Sn– 1 H) calculated from the tin satellite is found to be in the region 49 to 54.5 Hz . With the help of the Lockhart and Manders equation normalθ)(normalCnormalSnormalnnormalC0.25em=0.25em0.0161true|2J)(119normalSnormaln1normalHtrue|20.25em1.32true|2J)(119normalSnormaln1normalH|+0.25em133.4 the CSnC bond angles can be calculated using 2 J ( 119 Sn– 1 H) values.…”
