Museu da Vida e seus públicos: reflexões sobre a zona de influência e o papel social de um museu de ciência

Abstract: Este artigo retrata o processo de definição da zona de influência do Museu da Vida, ou seja, das áreas do município do Rio de Janeiro de onde a maioria dos seus visitantes provém e cuja população é a base para a amostragem da pesquisa. Como resultados, este artigo faz uma análise sociodemográfica desse público e apresenta algumas de suas características relevantes. “…Therefore, SL should be an important schooling outcome and a consensus goal for science education, involving a multitude of intellectual resources, including the ability to conceptualize phenomena and reason from a scientific epistemology and build scientific ideas and arguments consistent with those of the scientific community, by analyzing and interpreting data and evidence consistently and adequately (Brown et al, 2005). “…The choice of population for the external group was based initially on the fact that Fiocruz is situated in the Manguinhos neighborhood and also has a close relationship with Maré, if we bear in mind the concept of territory used in this study.
