Multivariate optimization and validation of an analytical method for the determination of cadmium in wines employing ET AAS

Show more

“…During the validation process another method was also developed involving complete digestion with concentrated nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide under reflux (cold finger system) for 2 h. The linear regression method was used to compare the analytical results obtained with these two methods. The results demonstrated that there is no evidence for a systematic difference between the two methods for the determination of cadmium in wine [39].…”

“…Innumerous parameters of analytical conditions can be optimized by multivariate methods using experimental designs. Some works have been reported in order to determine optimal analytical parameters in spectroscopy especially in GF AAS [14][15][16][17]. A multivariate optimization is executed to evaluate the variables and the interactions that have significant influence on the response and to determine the optimal values of the experimental variables, and the interactions among its that have significant influence on the response in opposition to univariate optimization [16].…”
