Malnutrition could resulted disturbance physique and mental illness and risk death . Moringa oleifera is rich in phytonutrients so that Becomes source promising nutrition _ however use in fortification food still limited . The research objective was to determine the effect of giving cake snacks dry moringa against enhancement heavy body toddler underweight . Design used _ is Quasi Experimental with nonrandomized pretest-posttest design. The research sample is 30 toddlers (15 case groups and 15 control groups). Measurement heavy body conducted with digital scales and be measured 2 times ie before intervention and after intervention . Moringa snacks given for 3 weeks Data analysis using the T test. The results of the study showed the provision of cake snacks dry with additions powder Moringa leaves 100 mg per day for 3 week significantly improve heavy body toddler (P=0.00). Moringa can increase the weight of underweight toddlers. Further research is needed regarding the effectiveness of Moringa in overcoming health problems in children in more coverage large including stunting.

Moringa oleifera is a traditional food crop widespread in Asiatic, African, and South American continents. The plant, able to grow in harsh conditions, shows a high nutritional value and medicinal potential evidencing cardioprotective, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antimicrobial properties. The purpose of this study was the phytochemical analysis of M. oleifera and the identification of the antimicrobial compounds by combining a chemical approach with in vitro tests. The metabolite profile of M. oleifera polar and apolar extracts of leaves and seeds were investigated by using Nuclear Magnetic Resonance spectroscopy and Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry. The antimicrobial activity of all of the obtained extract was evaluated against four bacterial pathogens (Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Salmonella enterica). The chemical analysis provided a wide set of metabolites that were identified and quantified. Moreover, apolar extracts from seeds showed a significant concentration-dependent antimicrobial activity against S. aureus and S. epidermidis, (4 mg/mL reduced the viability up to 50%) that was associated to the content of specific fatty acids. Our results remarked the advantages of an integrated approach for the identification of plant metabolites and its use in association with biological tests to recognize the compounds responsible for bioactivity without compounds purification.

Up to these days, many people globally have not yet realized the wondrous benefits of the drumstick tree (Moringa oleifera), such as citizens living in Kediri, East Java, Indonesia. Each person of the communities in the region mostly has spacious enough yards that can be optimized for drumstick tree cultivation. This community service aimed to (a) enhance motivation in gardening activities of urban communities; b) improve knowledge and skills of urban communities in cultivating, harvesting, and processing drumstick tree; c) increase greenery areas in the house; and d) improve food security and family health during the Covid-19 pandemic. Activities in the present community development were distributing gardening and education packages to the target community of Kediri citizens through online media ranging from planting, maintaining, and processing drumstick trees as a home industry business in order to enhance their income. Participants of these activities were also given some materials regarding the topic in the form of booklets and online collective assistance.
