“…After a 72‐h retention interval, each animal was tested on a choice phase for 2 min, during which a copy of the sample object was presented in one arm and a novel object in the other. A 72‐h retention interval was used because it is a suboptimal condition in which drug‐naive rats do not show object memory 3,7,24 . All animals were tested twice, once with 0 NTX and once with 3 NTX, in a counterbalanced order, and the two sample/ choice OR sessions were separated by 24 h.
