The aim of this study to evaluate the expression of Programmed cell death-1 (PD-1), TGF- ß, and IL-10 in placental tissue of aborted women and the correlation with Toxoplasma.gondii (T. gondii) and the correlation of these cytokines with each other and with toxoplasmosis, during an abortion. The placental tissue samples have been processed and used for immunohistochemistry to study the expression of PDL-1, IL-10, and TGF-β. There was an increase in expression of TGF-β, PDL-1, and IL-10 in the placental tissue of aborted women infected with T.gondii, The results of the study showed that the residence of pregnant women in an urban area or rural has no relation with Toxoplasmosis infection (P>0.05), Age shows a significant correlation with Toxoplasmosis, the risk of infection increased with age (P<0.05). The number of recurrent abortions has no significant correlation effect in toxoplasmosis infection and abortion between the positive and control groups (P>0.05), Placental expression of PDL-1, IL-10, and TGF-β show significant correlation during infection with toxoplasmosis (P<0.05).

This study was planned to investigate the probable protective role of Salvia officinalis have in the nanoparticles and aqueous extracts on female rats which exposed to Bisphenol A. At the end of the experiment the blood samples were collected by heart puncture to evaluate the RBC and WBC count, Hemoglobin, Platelets as well as follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormones (LH), estrogen, creatinin, urea, aspartate aminotransferase, alanine amino transferees and alkaline phosphatase were estimated furthermore after the rats were scarified Liver, Kidney, Uterus and ovary were collected for histological study. The result shows significant decrease in the RBC, PLT and Hb count in the BPA group in comparison with the control and SOSNPs and SOE groups. In addition, there is a significant increase in WBC count and estrogen level in the BPA treated rats in comparison with control, SOSNP and SOE treated rats. As well as, there is significant increase in the liver enzymes (AST, ALP and ALP) in the BPA treated rats in comparison with control and SOSNP & BPA treated groups. Histological studies show presence of vacuolation with absence of radial arrangement in the hepatocytes in the liver of rats. The histological studies for the uterus of rats Beside ovarian sections BPA reveled mature follicle without oocyte with cyst like structure in the ovary in comparison with control group, these effects were relieved by the role of SOSNP and SOE in alleviating the effects of BPA on studied parameters.

Bone is considered the core unit that forms the human body’s skeleton, consisting primarily of hydroxyapatite (HA) and collagen (Col). The composites of hydroxyapatite/collagen had been prepared through different fabricated techniques and were used in many bone defects as biomaterials for bone tissue engineering. The incorporation of HA and collagen is possible due to the biocompatibility of collagen and the high mechanical properties of the HA. HA/Col composites have been used in many medical and biological fields. Current study have been discussed the synthesis and characterization techniques of HA/Col composites; the study have been included to study the cytotoxicity and cell attachment of the composites, along with their applications, as well as barriers that still remain to their successful development for clinical application.
