“…In addition, some easily miscible products, such as the plants in the genus of Dendrobium ( Zuo, Zu, Liu, Song, & Yuan, 2021 ) and Ferula ( Wang, Zhang, He, & Sheng, 2018 , Wang et al, 2018 ), can also be considered to establish relevant microbial standards for identification. Finally, the rhizosphere microorganisms were obtained by plate scribing method and verified by callus culture and cultivation experiments ( Guo, Liu, Tang, Chen, & Pei, 2017 , Xu et al, 2022 , Xu et al, 2022 ).…”

“…Exploring the common rhizosphere microorganisms of medicinal plants is of great value for solving the cultivation problems of endangered plants. The imbalance in the regulation of canopy density and soil pH-bacterial diversity might exacerbate the endangered status of Scutellaria tsinyunensis C. Y. Wu & S. Chow ( Xu et al, 2022 , Xu et al, 2022 ). Furthermore, it was revealed that Haliangium and Candidatus Koribacter are important genera for the protection of S. tsinyunensis , which are of great significance for promoting the growth of S. tsinyunensis and protecting the endangered plants.…”

“…Calli induction in S. baicalensis was performed as previously described, with some modifications ( Wan et al., 2012 ). Briefly, stem explants (grown in vitro ) were cut aseptically into approximately 10 mm segments and placed on MS medium supplemented with 2.0 mg/L 6-BA (6-Benzylaminopurine) (Xiya Reagent, Linyi, China) and 1.0 mg/L NAA (-naphthalene acetic acid) (Solarbio, Beijing, China), which could promote the induction and proliferation of calli ( Xu et al., 2022 ). After 2 weeks, S. baicalensis calli were subcultured in the same culture medium at 25 ± 1°C.…”

“…Moreover, secondary metabolites derived from endophytic bacterial cultures have demonstrated cytotoxic, antimicrobial, antiviral, and anticancer activities in previous studies [4]. The growing interest in endophytic bacteria emphasizes their utilization due to their ability to enhance plant defense responses through the formation of secondary metabolites [5]. Endophytic bacteria can produce new secondary metabolites with significant bioactivity potential [6].…”

“…Secondary metabolites play a crucial role in plants overcoming diverse environmental stresses. The metabolite-based approach can be used to characterize metabolic alterations, encompassing compounds such as alkaloids, phenolics, terpenoid glycosides, and flavonoids [5]. According to Rahayu et al [8], Hibiscus leaves contain alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, and tannins.…”
