<em>Market participants can take various methods, ranging from acceptable practices to fraudulent methods. The State is expected to take on the role of the market supervisor so that both sellers and buyers can feel justice. The State has the right to regulate the course of the economy but with limits that are not detrimental to market players. In Islam, the market is controlled so that competition is carried out voluntarily. There must not be a party that is harmful to the party that is injured. This study aims to determine the role of the State as a market supervisor from an Islamic perspective. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative research approach. The data collection technique in this research is literature search from journals, books, electronic books, articles, and other information media related to the State's role in market supervision. The market supervisor in Islam is known as Al-Hisbah. The main task of al-hisbah is to invite the truth and forbid Munkar. In addition, Al Hisbah has three main functions, namely economic, social and moral functions. In contemporary times the position of al-hisbah can be a complementary role for a ministry or state agency.</em>

The economy has improved very rapidly in the digital age. The birth of various policies that actually do not consider the religious side, which only cares about profit. This becomes a challenge in providing a factual answer to the conception of economic policy that is in line with economic principles in accordance with Islamic law.So, it is very urgent to re-explore the conception and implementation of economic policies outlined in Islamic law. The study is a conceptual study by conducting a literature review. This study focuses on theories related to the concept of economic policy in the perspective of Islamic law.The findings in this study indicate that economic policies in Islamic law have been stipulated in the Islamic texts which substantially prohibit policies that use people's property, criminalizing policies. Economic policies that are in accordance with Islamic law are policies that are fostering in increasing economic development.This economic policy has long been practiced by the Prophet (pbuh) and his companions during the period ofkhulafaurasyidin as a way to improve the economy with policies that are relevant to the objectives of the Islamic texts. The implication of this finding is that in carrying out economic policies always consider economic policies that are in line with the provisions of the Quran and hadith.

Pasar yang merupakan pertemuan antara permintaan dan penawaran harus berlangsung secara adil. Islam melarang tindakan-tindakan yang dapat menzalimi dan merugikan orang lain. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji prinsip-prinsip Islam yang harus diterapkan dalam mekanisme pasar, sehingga terjadi pasar yang sehat dan adil, serta memberikan maslahat bagi semua pihak. Selain itu, kajian ini juga akan menganalisis tindakan-tindakan terlarang yang dapat mendistorsi pasar. Kajian ditulis dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan menjabarkan berbagai teori dari beberapa literatur. Kajian ini menggarisbawahi bahwa pasar dalam sistem Ekonomi Islam harus menjaga nilai-nilai kejujuran dan keadilan. Selain itu, pihak-pihak yang terlibat di dalam pasar agar menghindari praktik-praktik yang dapat merusak mekanisme pasar, sehingga merugikan orang lain. Beberapa bentuk tindakan yang dilarang Islam dalam mekanisme pasar antara lain ihtikar atau penimbunan barang untuk menaikkan harga barang di pasar, bai najasy yang merupakan praktik jual beli terlarang, taghrir dalam bentuk ketidakjelasan harga ataupun kualitas dan kuantitas barang yang diperdagangkan, dan tadlis yang merupakan praktik penipuan. Kajian ini merekomendasikan agar Pemerintah menetapkan ketentuan-ketentuan agar pasar yang berlangsung di masyarakat berjalan secara adil tanpa adanya pihak yang dirugikan.
