“…Recycling the waste concrete and bricks into recycled aggregate (RA) is the most effective method of reducing the amount of construction and demolition (C&D) wastes, which meets the sustainable development of construction industry [31,32]. e chloride permeability of recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) has been investigated by many scholars, and the results highlight that the addition of RA increases the chloride permeability [33][34][35].…”

“…In China, the rapid urbanization which reaches to about 58.5% in 2017 results in a massive construction of the new building along with the demolition of the old building [25,26]. Figure 1 gives the output of C&D wastes from 2008 to 2017 in China, and the results show that the amount of C&D wastes generally increases with increasing years, and it is, respectively, 1.6 and 1.8 billion tons in 2016 and 2017 [27]. For e ectively reducing the amount of C&D wastes in China, the recycling technology and related studies on the C&D wastes were conducted.…”

“…An experimental and analytical assessment of the mechanical behavior of concrete using seawater and sea‐sand with or without RCA is conducted. The early‐age cracking behavior is investigated by means of knife‐edge binding method as its results can be used to estimate the shrinkage behavior and crack control of concrete, which can indicate the durability and workability of concrete accordingly . Furthermore, the stress–strain relationship of SSC in compression is studied.…”
