At present, tourism is counted among those industries which have gained global attention due to rapid growth. Hence, a constant diversification in terms of destination is needed in tourism development. The recent trends of industry highlight the demand of alternative tourism types, among which nature-related tourism appears to be an emerging concept. In this regard, the present article investigates the impact of economic conditions and sustainable rural development on the sustainability of tourism development in China. The current research has gathered secondary data from the World Bank from 1981 to 2020. The quartile autoregressive distributed lag model has been applied to test the association between the variables. The results revealed that GDP, inflation, FDI, exchange rate, energy use, gross savings, and sustainable rural development have a significant and positive association with the sustainability of tourism development in China. Findings offer managerial implications recommending the local government to focus on the sustainability of rural development and economic conditions that may lead to the implementation of tourism-related development projects. This study also guides the policymakers in establishing policies related to tourism development using different economic conditions and sustainable rural development.

Indonesia is struggling with utmost pressure to restrict carbon emissions as it is included in those emerging economies who are recognized as highest carbon emitters. Nevertheless, the Indonesian government is showing remarkable effort to reduce the emissions and set a planned goal to achieve low carbon economy. However, the major reliance on fossil fuels to maintain economic growth is creating obstacles for country. To explore that what tools could be helpful in the scenario to support country’s goal. The study intends to measure the role green finance, innovation, agriculture finance and sustainable economic development in gauging carbon intensity. The paper used two indicators to measure sustainable economic development; GDP per capita and renewable energy consumption. The panel data is used in the study which is extracted from 30 provinces of Indonesia in the time span of 2006-2020. The study used OLS fixed effect model and quantile regression technique to assess the relationship between explained variable and explanatory variables. Findings echo that with the increase in economic growth, carbon intensity also starts increasing. However, green finance, innovation, agriculture finance and renewable energy are significant tools to reduce the emissions. Furthermore, confirmation of findings was done through quantile regression analysis. The paper presents several implications as well on the basis of empirical evidence which are of great help for country.

Economic growth has become a global issue, especially after Covid-19, and attain the focus of recent studies and policymakers. A question that repeatedly arises when compulsion of sustainability is sought in a system and economies are obligated to strive for creative outcomes in order to increase economic efficiency. Meanwhile, green financing and sustainable economic development are also expected to be a part of the requirement as they are directly or indirectly indicators of economic growth. Thus, the current research examines the role of the Covid-19 outbreak along with green finance, sustainable economic development and creativity on the economic recovery in the context of G20 economies. This study has used the World Development Indicators (WDI) to extract the data of the selected countries from 2016 to 2020. The present study has also executed the robust standard error along with the fixed-effect model (FEM) to examine the nexus among the variables. The results revealed that green finance (green credit and renewable energy production), sustainable economic development environmental dimension (GHG emissions) and creativity have a positive association with economic growth in G20 countries. These outcomes are suitable for the new researchers while studying this area in the future and helpful for the regulators while developing the regulation related to the economic recovery.
