MDLC model for developing multimedia e-learning on energy concept for primary school students

Abstract: This study aims at developing multimedia instructional material at the elementary school level by using the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) model. This research developed multimedia platform which consisted of learning modules and videos. MDLC constitutes methods consisting of concept, design, collection of materials, assembly, testing, and distribution. In developing multimedia by using MDLC, it was based on a flowchart system and a learning video story board. The results indicated that the multimedi… Show more

“…Thus both teachers and students in seeing how multimedia can break the value up to 95% is an innovation in animal science education so that students find significant learning outcomes. The results of a similar study were also carried out by Kumala (2021) with his study of the multimedia learning model to develop e-learning during the pandemic with the concept of e-learning for elementary schools.…”

“…The multimedia development life cycle of this research has the aim of developing a more attractive and efficient learning media using augmented reality by utilizing the camera features of the Android/iOS Smartphone. As shown in Figure 1, where the MDLC method has 6 stages, namely concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing and distribution [16]- [18].…”

“…Based on the findings of the alpha and beta testing, it was determined that the developed e-learning multimedia is practical and appropriate for use by primary school students. e developed multimedia includes a range of educational features to help students understand and engage with the presentation [11]. Ren et al show that the performance vectors of virtual machines and servers can be used to create a matching model between virtual and actual resources, and resource demand can be calculated using linear prediction.…”
