Manufacturing of amber particles suitable for composite fibre melt spinning

Abstract: # Corresponding author Communicated by Ivars KnçtsPolyamide fibre containing amber particles was fabricated. The amber particles were obtained by grinding technology using planetary ball-mills. Scanning electron microscopy and granulometry testing were used to characterise the structure and the size of prepared amber particles. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy was used to analyse the chemical structure of the amber particles. The amber particles were characterised with average size up to 3 µm. The chemi… Show more

“…But one should be noted that for tissue engineering (as well as for all implanted materials), it is permissible to use 100% of synthesized compounds. The active ingredients isolated from amber, which can be purified and approved by pharmacology, can be the basis for their subsequent productions and implementation in blood vessels implant structure [44][45][46].…”

“…A GIS is one of the most effective tools for presenting and analysing statistical and geospatial data utilising spatial analysis techniques such as (Tupenaite et al, 2017). Other technological advancement can also give huge impact on real estate industry over the globe, for example, negatively charged particles of amber can be used in mask, which helps repel Covid viruses, which also have negative charge (Ļašenko et al, 2016 andGaidukovs et al, 2016). In India, where the people cannot be vaccinated in a short period of time due to huge population, this may be a viable option for real estate and other industries in the present environment.…”

“…Nowadays, one of the main engineering challenges is to develop and introduce in the mass production efficient reinforcement material. An example is: innovative reinforcing composite fibre metal-crystalpolymer with protective properties from the electromagnetic field [8], [9]. Short fibres may be the main or the secondary reinforcement (in combination with rebars) bearing the bending moments and the shear stresses.…”
