Neste curto espaço de discussão, sob a tela da expressão literária na qualidade de mecanismo de perpetuação de práticas culturais, talvez fosse interessante tratar de problemas como a leitura em papel versus leitura na tela, provocar um pouco mais a chamada "liberdade de expressão" via internet -enquanto utopia, mas rara realidade pelas múltiplas maneiras de controle (inclusive pelos próprios provedores de internet e de telefonia móvel) -e questionar a premissa da ubiquidade de acesso, quando em boa parte das comunidades não há sequer eletricidade.Contudo, essas questões estão mais na área de uma sociologia da leitura do texto literário que propriamente de literatura e novas mídias. Observadas tais limitações, após um tratamento perfunctório da literatura no mundo digital, faremos: i) uma visitação à disponibilização das fontes primárias e secundárias como preponderante e prevalente em países com direito autoral mais ou menos benéfico à pesquisa literária; e ii) uma rápida discussão acerca das materialidades da literatura, aqui entendidas como as relações entre os meios em que a expressão literária se faz presente, todos carregados de significância e significado.
Ainda admirável mundo novo?O uso de computadores pessoais (nas suas variantes desktop, notebook, ultrabook, netbook, tablet, smartphones e reader, sem que essa listagem seja exaustiva) e da internet é fato mais que comum nos últimos dez anos, particularmente no ambiente acadêmico.
