Magnetic‐geared motor with a continuously variable transmission gear ratio and its control method

Abstract: Magnetic‐geared motors have attracted considerable attention because of their high‐torque density. However, the gear ratio of a magnetic‐geared motor depends on the number of poles in the rotor, which is fixed during operation.
