FAM110B Inhibits Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Cell Proliferation and Invasion Through Inactivating Wnt/β-Catenin Signaling

Abstract: Purpose: FAM110B is a member of the FAM110 family (family with sequence similarity 110), which is a component of the centrosome associated proteins. Previous studies have shown that FAM110B may be involved in the process of cell cycle and may play a role in carcinogenesis and tumor progression. Using an online database, we found that FAM110B may predict favorable prognosis in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Therefore, the role of FAM110B playing in NSCLC needs to be further investigated. Patients and Metho… Show more

“…For example, as a member of the FAM110 family (family with sequence similarity 110), FAM110B with an AUC value of 0.934 was downregulated in gene cluster A and the high-aging CAF score group ( Supplementary Figure S4 , Figure 3K , Figure 4I ). Previous studies demonstrated that FAM110B participated in the regulation of the cell cycle and predicted favorable prognosis in NSCLC ( Xie et al, 2020 ). In agreement with this study, FAM110B was found to be involved in the favorable gene set which was used to calculate the aging CAF score.…”

“…The immune function of HCC patients with low expression of PDE2A showed a downward trend [ 42 ]. There are few studies on FAM110D gene, but some studies have found that another FAM110 gene, FAD110B, can inhibit the growth and invasion of lung adenocarcinoma by inactivating the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway [ 53 ]. FAM110A may induce the occurrence and progression of pancreatic cancer [ 54 ].…”

“…39 FAM110B has also been demonstrated to decrease the proliferation and differentiation of lung small-cell carcinoma. 40 Ank2 is mainly expressed in genes associated with human breast cancer and autism risk. The DPYD Gene May Have the Capacity to Enhance PC Cell Proliferation and Differentiation, Thereby Reducing Patient Survival Time Five genes, including DPYD, FXYD6, MAP6, FAM110B, and ANK2, were discovered to have survival differences after the 26 genes examined in this study were validated in the GEPIA website.…”
