Abstract: LESBUMI adalah singkatan dari Lembaga Seniman dan Budayawan Muslimin Indonesia. Lembaga ini didirikan pada 28 Juni 1962. Organisasi LESBUMI merupakan salah satu badan otonom dari NU yang bergerak dalam bidang kebudayaan dan kesenian. Organisasi LESBUMI memilki peran penting dalam menyaingi LEKRA, dan menguasai jalur perfilman nasional. Selain itu, lembaga ini dijadikan sebagai salah satu jembatan dakwah menggunakan media seni.
