“…In an uveal melanoma mouse model, Eyles and colleagues found the first single tumor cell to spread less than 3 weeks after the clinical onset of the primary tumor which demonstrated that immunosurveillance controls the growth of primary melanoma and check the metastatic outgrowth [ 20 ].
