Lactate biosensor based on a lactate dehydrogenase/nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide biocomposite

Abstract: A new biocomposite. fabricated by incorporating lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) within a graphite-epoxy matrix, is used as a polishable (renewable) and robust biosensor for lactate. Highly sensitive and rapid amperometric biosensing is accomplished at relatively low potentials.
