Purpose – This paper tries to examine and explain how the role of women in the economic resilience of the family during the Covid-19 pandemic from an Islamic perspective. Methodology – The method in this research is a phenomenological study and also a descriptive analysis. This research is a literature study or library research using a qualitative research approach. This study uses secondary data originating from the publication of scientific journal articles, the results of previous studies, and other reference sources that are relevant to the thing being studied. Findings – The results of the study show that working women play a very important role in maintaining the economic resilience of the family, especially during the pandemic. However, on the other hand, women who help make a living also have their challenges, namely how they can divide their time between working to earn a living and also taking care of the household. Implications – Working women must be able to balance the roles they have. Islam allows women who work to help earn a living with the record that it is with the permission of her husband, to avoid things that are contrary to the Shari’a, and also stay away from work that is contrary to her feminine nature.Originality – Religious teachings that serve as guidelines in life will also be a separate perspective that will enrich views on how women work.

This study aims to determine the multiple roles and constraints faced by single parents of women in the midst of their families. This study used qualitative research methods. Research subjects were taken using a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected through observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The theory used is role theory with the supporting theory of AGIL (Adaptation, Goal, Integration, Latency). It was concluded that the role attached to a mother, namely the domestic role and the role attached to a father, namely the public role, has different challenges and implementation. A single-parent woman carries out both roles simultaneously, there is a division of labor among other family members and some are not. There are several forms of maintenance carried out by a single-parent woman in the midst of her family, which will require a time-consuming process. This is done in order to support the current situation and minimize constraints and conflicts in the family. There are several obstacles faced, most of the obstacles are related to meeting family needs, and giving affection and attention. The concept of AGIL in research is associated with the concept of roles and constraints in carrying out these dual roles.

Abstract The creation of Siti Hawa from the ribs of the prophet Adam is a sign that women are physically weaker than men. Therefore also the background so that they often get unfair treatment or discrimination. But over time, the signal has faded, especially in Indonesia. This fact is inseparable from the services of a female emancipation warrior, RA Kartini. Today many women are as successful as men. No longer can the number of those who hold the reins of leadership be counted, one of them being the headmaster in various educational institutions, ranging from the lowest level of education to tertiary education. Whereas leadership positions in the education sector are very urgent and determine whether or not the vision, mission and goals of education are achieved or not. An in-depth study of opinions which states that "actually women have the same potential as those of men". No matter how great a woman is, she can't be released as a housewife. AbstrakTerciptanya Siti Hawa dari tulang rusuk nabi Adam merupakan satu isyarat bahwa kaum perempuan itu lebih lemah fisiknya dibanding kaum pria. Oleh karena itu pulalah yang menjadi latar sehingga mereka sering mendapat perlakuan tidak adil alias diskriminasi. Namun seiring berjalannya waktu, isyarat itu telah pudar, khususnya di Indonesia. Kenyataan ini tak lepas dari jasa seorang pejuang emansipasi wanita, RA Kartini. Hari ini banyak sudah kaum perempuan yang berhasil seperti kaum laki-laki. Tak lagi dapat dihitung jumlah mereka yang memegang tampuk-tampuk kepemimpinan, salah satunya menjadi kepala sekolah di berbagai lembaga pendidikan, mulai dari tingkat pendidikan terendah sampai perguruan tinggi. Padahal jabatan kepemimpinan di sektor pendidikan sangat urgen dan menentukan tercapai atau tidaknya visi, misi dan sasaran pendidikan. Perlu kajian mendalam tentang pendapat yang menyatakan bahwa “sebenarnya perempuan memiliki potensi yang sama sebagaimana yang dimiliki oleh laki-laki”. Karena sehebat apapun seorang perempuan, titel sebagai ibu rumahtangga tak dapat ia lepaskan.
