Background: Dating violence has long-lasting and also short effects that are serious and have negative impacts severity toward physical forms of violence, psychic, economic and sexual. This study aims to know the relationship between the teachers’ role, their peers and the mass media and dating violence in adolescents at SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta.Methods: The design of the study is analytical survey with cross-sectional design.The sample was students of class XI of SMK Piri 1 Yogyakarta with a total of 147 respondents.A questionnaire was used to determine the relationship between the role of the teacher, peers and mass media with dating violence. Univariate and bivariate analyzes were performed with chi square test.Results: There were two variables that show there was a relationship between peers (p=0.009), mass media (p=0.019) with dating violence and there was no relationship between teacher roles and dating violence (p=1.00), peer prevalence ratio values indicate (RP=0.682), mass media (RP=1,432) and the teacher's role (RP=0,977) and confidence interval 95% confidence level, that there are peers (CI=0,528-0,888), mass media (CI = 1,067-1,922) and the teacher's role (CI=0.745-1.228).Conclusions: There is a relationship between peers and mass media with dating violence, and there is no relationship between teachers’ role and dating violence in SMK 1 Piri Yogyakarta.

Problems in dating relationship may lead to violence such as emotional abuse that usually can lead to physical abuse and sexual abuse. The need for the role of parents in control and give examples of behaviour to adolescents directly or indirectly. Children will bring exemplified parents into the social environment as communication patterns. Family communication patterns is divided into four, namely Pluralistic, Consensual, Laissez-Faire, and Protective. Communication patterns are different in every family will indirectly establish a different personality for each adolescents. Based on the exposure, this study has the objective to determine differences in emotional abuse in adolescents who are dating is based on communication patterns within the family. Subjects in this study were 75 people late adolescents who are dating and live with parents at Udayana University. Instruments in this research is the Emotional Abuse scale and Revised Family Communication Pattern (RFCP) scale. One Way ANOVA analysis results showed p=0,031 (F=3,138; p<0,05) can thus be noted that there are differences in emotional abuse in adolescents who are dating is based on communication patterns within the family. Differences are also evident from the pattern of Pluralistic group communication and Laissez-Faire contained probability value p=0,043 (p<0,05), which means that Ho is rejected or there is a difference between communication patterns within the family group pluralistic and Laissez-Faire. Adolescents who grew up with communication patterns Laissez-Faire has a higher tendency to do emotional abuse in couples than adolescents who grew up with pluralistic communication patterns. Currently, the juvenile delinquency trend is still very high. Dating violence (DV) is one of the delinquencies that teenagers often commit. DV has negative impacts in the form of physical and psychological impacts. Physical impacts can include bruises, fractures. Meanwhile, the psychological impact can be a the form of depression, stress, anxiety, and sleep problems. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between physical and psychological violence in dating stress adolescents. This study used a cross-sectional design. Sample of this study was 314 students (15-19 years) in Bantul chosen through a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was using multiple logistic regressions. The results showed that there was a significant relationship towards stress, namely gender (p-value=0.050), physical violence (p-value=0.000), and psychological violence (p-value=0.000). Age (p-value=0.653) and parents' income (p-value=0.100) had no significant relationship to stress. Psychological violence variable (p-value=0.000; OR=6.285, 95%; CI=3.683-10.726) was the most dominant in triggering stress in adolescents. So, there were relationships between gender, physical and psychological violence in dating with the incidence of stress among adolescents in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic.
