Abstract:Textile materials are one of the most favored reinforcement materials in the composite industry. In this study, thermo-mechanical properties of six various fabrics which are woven with three different yarns (jute, E-glass and carbon) are investigated by dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) methods. According to DMA results, moduli of E-glass and carbon samples decrease with increasing temperature while it increases at jute samples. DSC … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
