Justification of rational design parameters of milking machine for installations with milk line system

Abstract: This article is devoted to improving the efficiency of the milking process by improving the mode of milk transport by using a two-chamber milking cluster with partial air intake into the milk collecting chamber in the d-phase. Creating a two-chamber cluster with partial air intake will combine the main benefits of operating a milking machine with an alternate and simultaneous pulsator, stabilize the vacuum pressure in the b-phase and create a sufficient pressure gradient in the d-phase. To establish and verify… Show more

“…Existing milking machines [1][2][3] with simultaneous action of milking glasses are characterized by a high intensity of milk output and its uneven flow into the milk collection chamber of the cluster. Teat and udder irritation is generally uniform and synchronous throughout the milking period.…”

“…Among these studies, a special position is occupied by tests of vacuum changes in the milking equipment [21], which is the main technical parameter of a mechanical milking machine. Vacuum drops and oscillations in the milking cluster reduce milking efficiency and constitute the factors that are mostly responsible for udders diseases in mechanically milked cows.…”

“…In precision livestock farming, one of the key components of the technical support for the milk production process is the means of operational monitoring of milk production intensity, which are the basis for adaptive milking systems, means of monitoring the physiological condition of cows and individual milk production [1][2][3]. Volumetric operating principle mechanical meters (bucket and float type) are widely used to determine individual productivity of cows.…”
