Some of the major compounds listed are alkaloids, flavonoids, glycosides, limonoids, resins, oleoresins, tannins, saponins, steroids, terpenoids, phenolic derivatives, lipophilic organic compounds, linolenic acid, palmitic acid, caryophyllene, humulene, aromadendrene, probucol, germacrene-D, phthalic acid 6-ethyl-3-octyl, and butylated hydroxy toluene (Zhao et al 2010;Valentina et al 2013;Murugesan et al 2013;Jeyaleela et al 2017).
