Investigation of gene expression and genetic simultaneous control associated with erectile dysfunction and diabetes

Abstract: Diabetes can cause some diseases or abnormalities. One of the disorders caused by diabetes may be erectile dysfunction (ED). ED is sexual dysfunction characterized by the inability to establish or maintain an erect penis during sexual activity and is a complication of men with chronic type 2 diabetes. These processes, disorders and diseases are highly influenced by the genetics of individuals. In this study, the relationship between genes and diabetes and ED has been explored by a system biology approach. For … Show more

“…In the present study, the percentage of viable spermatozoa in fertile males is significantly higher than that of infertile ones. These results are in agreement with the finding of (37)(38)(39)(40). Because dead cells cannot fertilize an egg, determining sperm viability is crucial if a significant percentage of spermatozoa in a semen sample is non-motile (21).…”

“…Nomogram that uses 6 risk factors is commonly available to accurately estimate the likelihood of non-sentinel lymph node (nSLN) metastasis for the individual patient, which might be helpful for radiation oncologists to make a decision on regional nodal irradiation to identify the risk factors of nSLN metastasis in breast cancer patients with 1~2 positive axillary sentinel lymph node and construct an accurate prediction model (36). In relation to other cancers, it is necessary to study and research in this regard (37)(38)(39)(40)(41).…”

“…Cancer drugs could be delivered to tumors by this kind of nanocarrier effectively. Because cancer is very complex and many causes have been reported for it, it is necessary to carry out numerous researches at the cellular, molecular, macro and nano levels in order to reach its promising treatments (25)(26)(27)(28)(29).…”
