“…The emergence of new energy levels in Co‐doped In 2 S 3 can be attributed to the splitting of Co 3d state, which promotes the excitation of VB electrons through the d → d internal transition of Co ions in tetrahedral coordination. In the case of in situ surface doping modification of atomically thin 2D g‐C 3 N 4 by Se, [ 155 ] UV–vis DRS has proved that the absorption edge of g‐C 3 N 4 can be extended from 416 to 584 nm after Se doping (Figure 5H).
