Abstract: Objectives To clarify in vivo, using isolated small intestinal loops perfused with radioactive 14C‐oxalate, whether intestinal hyperabsorption or reduced secretion is important in magnesium deficiency (MgD), as this is a potential cause of calcium oxalate urolithiasis.
