With vanadium tailings and lead-zinc tailings as the main raw materials, gold tailings, waste glass powder, other fluxes and SiC foaming agents are added to prepare foamed ceramics. The effects of Ca and Mg in the fluxes of calcite, talc, and dolomite on the appearance, pore size, porosity, bulk density, and compressive strength of the samples were investigated and the mechanisms of the effects were analyzed. The XRD results showed that the sample consisted primarily of quartz, albite, augite, and a small amount of corundum. Calcite favors the formation of the augite phase, talc favors the formation of the albite phase, and dolomite combines the advantages of both. The formation of albite reduces the viscosity of the melt, and the formation of augite greatly enhances the strength of foamed ceramics. It has been shown that by adding 8% dolomite, a foaming ceramic with a bulk density of .561 g/cm 3 , a porosity of 62.77% and a compressive strength of 10.823 MPa can be prepared, resulting in a low-cost, lightweight and high strength foamed ceramic partition.

Resource utilization of construction and demolition waste (CDW) is regarded to be an important means of achieving the sustainable development of the economy and the environment. However, previous research has not fully considered the green degree of products in the demand function of CDW remanufactured products. This study aimed to clarify how consumers’ green preferences and government subsidies affect decision making in the supply chain. First, a CDW resource utilization supply chain model composed of building materials manufacturers and retailers was constructed using consumer behavior theory. Second, the optimal decision making of members under conditions of decentralized and centralized decision making was analyzed using the Stackelberg game solution. Finally, the validity of the model and conclusions were verified by numerical simulation. The main conclusions are as follows. Government subsidies have a different impact on the pricing of new building materials products and CDW remanufactured products. Under decentralized decision making, the optimal profit of the CDW resource utilization supply chain with government subsidies is higher. However, under centralized decision making, the optimal profit is also related to consumers’ green preferences. According to consumers’ green preferences, choosing different decision-making models can not only improve the total profit of the CDW resource utilization supply chain, but also improve the reuse rate of CDW.

Direct reduction in rotary kiln plays a crucial role in the reduction and smelting of vanadium–titanium magnetite. The effect of the process parameters on the metallization rate and reaction mechanism during the reduction process in a rotary kiln is investigated. The results indicate that the optimal process parameters for direct reduction of vanadium–titanium magnetite in a rotary kiln are as follows: a reduction temperature of 1150 °C, reduction time of 4 h, carbon ratio 1.2, particle size of vanadium–titanium magnetite as 8–12 mm, and particle size of pulverized coal of <8 mm. During the direct reduction of vanadium–titanium magnetite, favorable conditions such as absence of smelting phenomenon on the surface of the reduction products, high metallization rate, and high quality of direct reduction iron are achieved. Through direct reduction, the transformation process of iron oxide in vanadium–titanium magnetite is Fe3O4 → iron oxide → Fe, and the transformation process of titanium–iron oxide is Fe9TiO15 → Fe2.75Ti0.25O4 → Fe2.5Ti0.5O4 → iron titanate → Fe. In addition, vanadium and ferrochrome oxides undergo reduction to form oxides or carbides.
